Not enough suitable applicants? Revisit the job order

What employers can review when a specialist role or a high-volume order attracts too few eligible candidates.

Sample editorial guidance — not a report of a recent interview, verified market change or live worker shortage. TGL-approved reporting is pending.

Find the actual bottleneck

Separate a low application count from a shortage of qualified, eligible candidates. Specialist certifications, language levels, relevant experience and a narrow sourcing brief can each reduce the shortlist. Review these factors individually before assuming a sector-wide worker shortage.

Keep standards, improve the brief

Identify mandatory requirements and distinguish them from preferences. Confirm that the salary and benefits are clear, the assessment is relevant and interview decisions are timely. For larger orders, discuss phased selection and realistic preparation milestones rather than promising immediate deployment.

Plan the next step with TGL

Share the roles, headcount, sourcing-country preferences and destination with TGL. The recruitment discussion can consider targeted sourcing, candidate preparation and employer interviews, subject to eligibility and availability. This sample does not claim that TGL has an unfilled live order or that a particular market currently lacks workers.
